The month of June sparks the beginning of summertime festivities here in the Midwest. This month brought us some extra time in the sun, outdoor family activities, and cute, summer outfits! With July beginning, I wanted to share some of my summer must-haves for the month of June. Across the board, I fully embraced the warm weather outfits and sunscreen for my fair skin. Here are the new items I explored in June 2023:

After a long day in the sun, there is no greater feeling than a shower and some smooth, moisturized skin! I have been loving the tried and true First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream this June. I truly wish I tried it sooner than this month. My skin is left feeling super soft and the pesky dry skin patches are officially gone. The best part? My skin is also less oily! Over all, this product is becoming a fan favorite in my toiletry bag.
Summer sun means many days in the pool and we are just now feeling the warmth here in the Midwest. This sent me on a mission to find the perfect suit for this season. The ruffled bodice on this suit provides the perfect amount of coverage and flirtatious feel. I love this suit so much that I bought two different colors as a staple piece for my closet. Pair them with a high waisted denim skirt or comfy shorts and you can easily transition from the boat to the bar for a cocktail!
Off the boat, I was on a man hunt for a cute pair of sandals that were comfortable enough to walk around town. These sandals are perfect for a night out on the town or even a country concert! The sole is durable in providing both support and comfort for my feet while also being super cute in style. The braid strap provides an extra sense of style while the olive color works with any color palette you are using. I rock a women’s 10 for my shoe size and was so excited with the wide variety to fit any type of foot. These are a must-have in my summer wardrobe!
With all kinds of cookouts and hikes this summer, I wanted to be sure I kept up on my 2023 goal of getting healthy. A key part to my personal journey with this goal is to weigh myself every day. I truly searched for a scale that provided more than just my weight in pounds. The reason I ordered this scale is due to the free app feature that helps to guide me in understanding all the parts of what makes the number on the scale. My goal is to focus on lowering that body fat percentage to a healthier range. This scale has been crucial in following my weight loss journey.
Rounding out the list of summer favorites is one of my favorite activities as a kid: sidewalk chalk! We spend most of our summer hanging out with our friends who have little kids. One of our favorite activities is to color with sidewalk chalk as it is fun for both kids and adults. There is so much imagination that pushes the kids outside away from their tablets and televisions. I really wish we had this type of variety pack when we were kids as there is any color you could imagine. The possibilities are endless!
